Description: On Feb 2nd, Professor Emeritus Ron Baecker, an MIT grad, will be presenting on:

The User-centered Design of Communications Technology for Seniors: Hacking and Social Entrepreneurship

Short Blob:

Social isolation kills seniors. TAGlab has spend several years understanding the problem of social isolation, developing and refining communications technology that is easy for non-technical seniors to learn and to use, and testing our solution in retirement homes, nursing homes, and home care settings. We are now building a business to commercialize our solution. I will talk about all of this, and engage the audience in a discussion of social hacking.
